Welcome to the Official Home of "The Destroyers" Chapter of the Second Marine Division Association.
The Destroyers Chapter of the Second Marine Division Association is a non profit unincorporated organization and is not organized for the private gain of any person.
The goals of The Destroyers Chapter are as follows:
1) Provide funding for the enhancement of the War Memorial located at 2d LAR Bn Headquarters.
2) Establish a close working relationship with the Battalion and act as a secondary support group to the Marines, attached Sailors, Veterans, family members and friends of the Battalion.
3) Provide dates and locations for the Marines, attached Sailors, Veterans, family members and friends to meet and promote the legacy and Esprit De corps of the unit.
4) To provide assistance and support to the Second Marine Division Association in accomplishing its goals.

We would like to welcome you to the official site of The Destroyers Chapter of the Second Marine Division Association. We hope that this site will keep anyone who has ever had an opportunity to serve with, be attached to, or have an aquaintance with the Battalion since its inception abreast of the current happenings. As Veterans we find ourselves looking back at some great memories and good friends we have met within this unit.
